Pupils in this class follow a pre-formal, sensory based curriculum. We use elements from Equals and the Engagement Model. Pupils in this class range from Year 6 to Year 9 and have a range of special educational needs including profound and multiple learning difficulties, severe learning difficulties, complex medical needs and autism.

We have a structured day, with the class teacher delivering most of the curriculum; specialist teachers deliver PE and swimming. We use a total communication approach. Eden class are supported by a Teacher, an Enhanced Teaching Assistant and a Teaching Assistant, some of the pupils also have one to one provision.
