Bamburgh Class are part of the Key Stage 3 department.
Pupils in this Semi-Formal class are from year 7 to 9. Our learners have a range of special educational needs including severe learning difficulties, autistic spectrum disorders and attention deficit hyperactivity disorder.
The class are part of our Semi-Formal Pathway and are taught by their form teacher but access some subject specialisms including P.E, Design Technology and outdoor learning.
Bamburgh class take a nurturing approach to learning, and this is shown through practical and engaging activities, which are tailored, to each learner.
Two Enhanced Teaching Assistants and one Teaching Assistant support Bamburgh class on a daily basis.
