Browney Class is part of the Key Stage 2 department.

Pupils in this class are in Year 3 and 4 and have severe learning difficulties and Autism The class is supported by three Teaching Assistants

The class teacher teaches most of the curriculum, which is Semi-Formal. Specialist teaching is delivered in PE (including swimming)

Browney class uses a total communication approach in everything we do. We use lots of practical activities to make learning fun and engaging.

We use the outdoor learning environment to explore nature at its best through the different seasons.

We use flexible seating in class to aid your Childs concentration when sitting. We also incorporate lots of movement breaks throughout the day.

We celebrate every success no matter how small, and we provide challenge for those children who are ready.
