Gifted & Talented Programme

Here at Durham Trinity School & Sports College we have a Gifted and Talented programme were pupils are engaged in extra PE sessions, possible leadership projects and work closely along side community coaches in a variety of sports. We actively promote Sports Leadership programmes in school, school is an active member of the County Durham Leadership Academy. Across the year pupils attend events aimed at developing a variety of skills that they will then be able to apply in a school or a community based setting.

The Gifted and Talented PE Project is to challenge pupils with a love of sport to improve their skills and to give opportunities for pupils to work with high quality coaches from our community.  This year we have worked with Durham County Cricket, Golf4All and local boxing and tennis coaches.
